I have been working in women's health for 20 years. I became a mother, then doula, then nurse and finally a Midwife. I worked in full-scope clinical practice for over 12 years providing gynecological care, collaborating with pelvic floor physical therapists and caught nearly 1200 babies. Eventually, it became clear to me that some of the most important aspects of healthcare simply could not be tackled properly in our current system.
