Rakhi Srivastava, MOT, OTR/L is an occupational therapist specializing in women's and men's pelvic floor health and rehabilitation. Rakhi attended the University of Cincinnati (Bachelors in Science) and Xavier University (Masters in Occupational Therapy). She spent many years gaining experience in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care before making the move into the specialty field of pelvic floor occupational therapy in 2018. Rakhi completed intensive pelvic floor specialty training through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute (Pelvic Floor 1, 2A, and 2B; Visceral Mobilization of the Gastrointestinal System; Perinatal Mental Health), Dry Needling 1 through Myopain Seminars, Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Core Exercise Solutions (in progress), among other education. She practiced at The Christ Hospital's Joint and Spine Center outpatient location from 2018-2022, where she was an integral part of building and growing the pelvic floor therapy program. Rakhi started her own private practice, Queen City Pelvic Health and Wellness, LLC in 2022 in order to continue to develop her treatments in a more holistic manner. Rakhi co-chaired the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Post-Dobbs Task Force in 2023 and presented at the AOTA national convention on "Maximizing Occupational Therapy's Potential in a Post-Dobbs World." She also helped create the Occupation-Based Pelvic Health Community of Practice through AOTA. She will be presenting at the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association's midyear conference in June 2023 and the OT's in Pelvic Health Summit for the second year in a row in August 2023. Rakhi was awarded a Model Practice Award from the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association in August 2021. Rakhi also spent 4.5 years as an adjunct faculty member at Xavier University between 2015-2019, where she instructed undergraduate and graduate students in occupational therapy skills. She acted as Faculty Advisor for three years for the student group, A Xavier Christmas. She has also been a mentor for the Xavier University Mentoring Program and a board member of the Southwest District of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association. Occupational Therapist
