Paige Genova

Paige is an Occupational Therapist (OT) specially trained in pelvic floor rehabilitation for all stages of life and is a certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. After working in acute care for the beginning part of her career, Paige crossed paths with a pelvic floor therapist who opened her eyes to pelvic floor dysfunction and helped her to heal her own pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction. After that experience she was hooked, and never looked back.

She founded Vital Pelvic Health after working as a pelvic floor therapist for years and realizing the traditional medical model was failing her patients.

She had a dream of creating a clinic that provided preventative education to the community, holistic patient-centered care and treatments that focused on achieving lasting relief by finding the root cause of symptoms and looking at the whole person. People suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction are at a disadvantage in our medical system because most providers don't understand the pelvic floor-they just prescribe kegels. Vital Pelvic Health and Wellness was created so that Paige could change that.

Paige was born and raised in Columbiana, Ohio and has been working as an OT in Youngstown for almost 10 years. Before Vital Pelvic Health, Paige worked as a pelvic floor therapist in a hospital based program and then started a pelvic health program at an outpatient orthopedic clinic.

When she is not ranting about pelvic floor dysfunction to anyone who will listen, Paige is spending time with her husband, two small children and their two rescue dogs; preferably outside or on an adventure in their RV. Occupational Therapist
