"I hurt when I ________" (insert here...have sex, sit, stand, pee, poop, etc!). "I pee (when I don't mean to)." "I had surgery." "I don't want surgery." "I am pregnant." "My back and hips hurt."
Any of those sound familiar? They all fall under the "pelvic health" umbrella.

"Pelvic Health" can mean a lot of different things. If you've found this page, you likely already know that and are well on your way to finding help. But how can you find the right help? How do you know who is the best fit for you? After the basic training, PT's can train in a wide variety of ways. I hope this brief description helps clarify my focus and help you decide if I'm the right one for you. You are always welcome to call - I offer free 5 minute consults - just click the button on my website and pick a time that works for you!

My primary areas of expertise include treatment of all forms of pelvic pain (all genders), prolapse, urinary/bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction and abdominal issues. My treatment approach combines all parts of my training - orthopedic, neurologic, visceral and musculoskeletal - combined with your specific goals. This eclectic approach, using multiple forms of therapy (including Redcord Neurac), allows for better results since not all people respond the same way to similar treatments. Treatment usually is focused on manual work combined with retraining of some form (Redcord, exercise, etc).

I've been specializing in pelvic physical therapy for all genders over the past 20+ years. I started with a double BS degree in Biology and Chemistry from Meredith College, followed by a Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 1997 from Emory University. Physical Therapist
