Dr. Sarah Trunk, PT, DPT
Specializing in: Women’s Pelvic Health, Pelvic Pain and Incontinence, Chronic Pain, Spine, John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Sports Medicine and Orthopedics
I began my career conquering the Sports Medicine & Orthopedics world however always felt I was missing something with my chronic pain and spine/pelvic dysfunction patients. Unfortunately, many of these patients would often lose hope as the traditional medical system continued to fail them. Due to my husband’s own journey and some amazing mentors, I realized what was missing; John Barnes’ Myofascial Release and a solid foundation in pelvic health (both of which are left out with traditional PT schooling).
I’ve spent the past several years pursuing Advanced Trainings and Specialties in these areas. I’m proud to now be recognized as one of the few Doctors of Physical Therapy in WI to be certified at the “Advanced” level of the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Method along with Women’s Pelvic Health & Spine/Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Specialties. My rare ability to combine these advanced skills into a whole-body approach allows my patients to achieve long-lasting improvement even when other approaches have failed. I’m passionate about helping my patients address those missing pieces and returning to truly living & enjoying the life they were meant to live. Physical Therapist
