Pegasus: Somatic Trauma Healing is located in Black Forest, CO. The ranch environment offers a therapeutic setting that is unique to the traditional office. My healing barn has professional treatment rooms and allows easy access to nature and animals. If you like a farm setting and animals, you are at the right place. We have cats, dogs, and horses, and they love to interact with people. If the weather is nice, we can sit outside at the water feature. This environment helps dealing with life's challenges and stresses, building resilience, resolving trauma, and finding balance. I have assisted for Dr. Peter Levine, and, aside from the SE training, am trained in addressing medical trauma, near death experiences, attachment and relational trauma, SE touch work, Base Practitioner, complex PTSD, and other syndromal patterns such as chronic pain, migraines, etc.

As a trained Family and Trauma Therapist, licensed in CO and Fl, services are available to adults, adolescents, children, and families. My focus is helping to resolve trauma and achieving Central Nervous System regulation. Based on the client's needs, interventions include traditional therapy (through the somatic experiencing lens) combined with Somatic Experiencing, SE Touch Work, Art, Play, Sand Tray, EMDR, and/or Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy. When interacting with the horses, we are aiming to heal trauma re-enactments as they occur for all participants, including the horses. I am also an Equusoma Practitioner (ESP).
