Shymaa Mesalam

For the past 14 years, I have been working with different kind of clients but since 2015, my work has become more focused on humans whom were exposed to trauma and diversities. I have been passionate about learning different modalities to be able to provide help for my clients. My clients are adolescents, children, adults mostly with trauma history either developmental, torture, domestic or sexual violence.

I’ve been working online only since 2020. I also had the honor to provide psychological support to covid patients and medical professionals at the time of Corona in quarantine hospital.

Over the past years, I had many trauma focused trainings, and has also provided many trainings and consultations (individual/peer) for trauma workers in the private and government sectors.
