Qiaoyi Li (phonetic spelling: Chiao-Yee, Lee)

As a trauma therapist, I have been working in the field of trauma and healing for 13 years, and most of my clients have been affected by the conflicts in Northern Ireland, and many of my clients have experienced profound developmental trauma, transgenerational trauma and systemic trauma.

I completed my professional training in multiple modalities, including Music Therapy, SE, NARM, and NeuroAffective Touch. I also attended Trauma Through a Child's eyes workshop and Essential healing strategies for Working with Sexual trauma and Sexuality workshop. I integrate all these modalities and trainings into my practice to tailor for each individual's needs.

I am passionate about supporting others to process their trauma in a non-intrusive way, and helping them to regain their strength, and to grow their capacity and awareness, so that they can move forward with their life.

When I am sitting in the room with the clients, I often think about both internal and external support and resources that may support them to come to see me, despite all those obstacles and challenges in their everyday life. I also pay attention to their innate resilience and capacity that supports them to move out of the "survival mode" and then they can start to "live" their life.

Apart from working with clients, I have been assisting SE training with both SEI and EASE for a few years. I love having connections with the wider SE community and I am very grateful for the support that I have received from the world wide SE community.
