Reaching out for help is a courageous act. Everyone faces unique life challenges, and no one should have to navigate them alone. Whether you're addressing a current difficulty or seeking to break free from old patterns, I am here to support you in achieving your personal goals. My approach, rooted in Somatic Experiencing (SE), Somatic Practice (developed by Kathy Kain), and other creative modalities, aims to help release the deep stories your body holds. The body has its own language and wisdom, offering a path to healing, improved emotional self-regulation, and a more grounded, healthy state.

I also offer affirmative counseling for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals. Many LGBTQ+ clients value working with a queer-identified therapist who can empathize with and deeply understand their experiences. It has been my privilege for over 25 years to provide counseling and witness the growth and resilience of LGBTQ+ individuals in our community.

In addition to my counseling work, I have served as a teacher in the Doctoring Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Guiding medical students on the psychological factors that influence patient health has sharpened my ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.
