Achieving balance emotionally, spiritually, and physically is the key to a satisfying, abundant, and successful life. In this safe, therapeutic environment, maintaining an approach that is person-focused rather than symptom-focused, we explore tangible methods that lead you back to your natural state of balance and well-being. As greater awareness is achieved, as you take these new insights into everyday life, old, destructive patterns fall away and new, healthy ways of living emerge. Using an eclectic approach that integrates traditional psychotherapy, somatic therapies, and Mindfulness practices, my intent is first to alleviate current symptoms that prevent you from living a joyous life, and then to heal their root cause. I will guide you to awaken and maintain your inner balance, so that you may experience all of lifes pleasures and enjoy more fulfilling relationships. Total health and wellness is about integrating all parts of self and thus connecting to the world around us.
My specialties include working with adolescents and adults, addiction recovery and co-dependency, couples, survivors of domestic violence and complex developmental trauma. In addition to completing and assisting touch skills training, I have also completed the 72hr hands-on training, "Somatic Resilience and Regulation After Early Trauma" with Kathy Kain and Steve Terrell as well as other post-graduate SE touch workshops.
