My path toward becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner started with a major internal crash. I felt seriously wounded by events that occurred with a friend. How things got to that point, is directly connected to traumas I had experienced growing up. There had been emotional abandonment and scarring. I have done traditional therapy and something called Heartwork. I have studied homeopathy and herbology. I have had a meditation practice for over 35 years. None of that touched the stored trauma that I couldn’t remember… but I found that the body could help. SEP
