Lorin Shapiro

I approach my work with compassion, empathy, acceptance and a little bit of humor. I provide a nonjudgmental, safe space for you to explore past and present trauma and emotional stressors. I will meet you where you are and work with you to reach your goals for a healthier, more connected life. I am trained as a psychodynamic and somatic therapist, so I tend to bring both orientations into the work, but I am always open to and excited about focusing on the somatic experiencing if that is what you desire. I honor the uniqueness of my patients, and I tailor the treatment to meet your specific needs. I have an office in Los Olivos, CA and I offer teletherapy to all California clients but I am deeply rooted in the Los Angeles therapy community.
