I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Medical Massage Therapist (LMT), and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I have 30 years experience providing psychotherapy and support for adolescents and adults moving through issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual abuse/rape survivors, emotional and physical abuse, substance abuse, grief/loss, migraines, school stressors, LGBTQIA+, religious trauma, chronic pain, medical trauma, falls/injuries, car accidents, natural disasters such as fires, floods, tornados, hurricanes, and animal attacks. Trauma is not a life sentence and healing is possible. I believe wholeheartedly in the resilience of the human spirit and our bodies capacity to heal with the right support.

Clients reach out for many reasons. Some are noticing distressing memories, fears, worries, or sadness impacting their relationships, employment, and/or sleep. Sometimes parents reach out because their teen or college student is seeming more withdrawn or overwhelmed at school/college or home. Some clients are feeling pressure to be perfect and keep up with life’s demands. Some are feeling stuck and unable to move their life forward and accomplish their personal or professional goals.
