I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for 25+ years, and became a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) in 2016.

I specialize in assisting individuals who identify as people pleasers to overcome their limited beliefs about themselves to become empowered.

Believe it or not, people pleasing has its roots in childhood trauma. When children are mistreated by their adult caregivers who are supposed to love and nurture them, they will go to great lengths to be loved, even if it means giving up their own needs and desires to please their parents.
