Having worked with movement as a therapeutic intervention I came to SE to understand why movement can be so challenging and how trauma is held in the body through constriction. To learn tools to work sensitivity with the impulse to hide, run away or freeze into a state of invisibility.

My experiential process and my curiosity has led me to study from a number of modalities which appreciate what it is to be a somatic moving human who has lived with adverse experiences. This knowledge informs my work with clients who seek a sense of 'safety' in connection to themselves, others and the world they live as part of.

Working from a somatic perspective which is also movement and attachment informed is a gentle, respectful and compassionate way in which to approach trauma and the wisdom of our body.

My curiosity to understand being human has led me a merry and challenging dance as I learn from my clients, academic studies and such teachers as Diane Poole-Heller (DARe), Kathy Kain (TTS & SRR), Stephen Terrel (SRR), Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen's (Australian BMC program) and Raja Selvam (ISP).
