Francesca Morfesis

My love is helping people move into more and more embodiment and to find and be nourished by what is meaningful, soulful, or ‘spiritual’ for them. This creates a large enough container for meeting and digesting the trauma that we all carry and are asked to integrate in order to reclaim our aliveness. I am especially interested in incorporating all parts of our inheritance and gifts - our physical, animal, as well as our uniquely human intelligences within the more than human family, to find our most coherent expression.

I bring my SE training, including experience assisting through the Intermediate year, training in parts work (via Inner relationship focusing) and extensive study of mindfulness, meditation and spirituality (both via secular and Buddhist traditions and as an interfaith chaplain) to bear within my work. I am collaborative, curious and flexible, and love to work with clients to find what best supports their physiology and their path.

It’s especially important in these times to find spaces of support, encouragement and cultural refuge. We live in a time when our nervous systems are deeply taxed and carry significant trauma, and in which the cultural resources for co-regulation and healing have been repressed or lost under the weight of systems of oppression. I’d be happy to be a part of your support network if it feels like we would be a good fit!

Please note- I ask clients to have, or to commit to starting, some form of contemplative practice outside of sessions as a part of our work, whether that’s meditation, yoga, prayer, or a regular creative practice like movement or art-making.
