Erengo Suto

I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, registered Art Therapist and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I have been working as a mental health clinician for over 15 years. I began my career working at Hathaway Sycamores working with children and families in underserved communities. My work there largely focused on supporting families heal from sexual and attachment trauma. I worked for 9 years at a comprehensive addiction treatment center running IOP and DBT groups. Additionally, I have spent the past decade working at a state hospital, where I served as the DBT clinical lead on a comprehensive DBT unit. I have been either formally trained or certified in the following evidenced based practices: TF-CBT, Prolonged Exposure, DBT, Triple P, MAP and Seeking Safety.

Throughout my career in mental health, I have supported individuals in working through trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, loss and life changes. I weave together somatic experiencing with traditional talk therapy techniques and art therapy/visualization. I offer individual adult therapy and trauma specific therapy to children and adolescents.
