In the 35 years as a traumatologist, I have trained in multiple neurobiologically-oriented modalities to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship issues, grief, anxiety, depression, cross-cultural and epigenetic issues, and addictive patterns. Somatic Experiencing allows for a deep exploration of the self, tapping into and tracking the conversation between the mind and the body and is my favorite staple in my toolbox.

Healing requires a witness in the process of mastering one's own self-regulation. I know which tools to use to listen in and can be your guide.

I am fluent in English, Spanish, and German and understand the significant influence one’s culture has on personal experiences and relationships.

Personally, I am guided by over 20 years of meditation, a life-long practice of yoga and dance, including Afro-Latin Jazz and 5 Rhythms Dance. I practice Aikido and Qi Gong and am a passionate bicyclist, photographer, and gardener.
