I am a somatic psychotherapist with over 40 years experience exploring the bodymind interface that underlies our sense of embodiment and wholeness. This exploration began with structural body-work modalities, then clinical social work, psycho-spiritual and mindfulness practices, including Jungian depth psychotherapy. My current focus is working with adults who are struggling with the aftermath of complex developmental trauma that continues to interfere with their quality of life in the 'here and now.'

Perhaps one is re-experiencing the same dysfunctional life patterns, including feelings, behaviors & symptoms that originated in the past and are effecting one's present sense of choices and well-being. My clinical practice is informed by SE, interpersonal neurobiology and Jungian SandPlay as modalities that engage you in a safe and supportive environment.

Cultivating self-acceptance through gentle inquiry and curiosity promotes an inner attitude that encourages healing. Often healing, or recovery, is a difficult journey that one comes to because an aspect of life is not working. As you learn to allow felt-sense self-states to emerge, you will gain confidence in your healing capacity. SE is an elegant and profound modality because it is rooted in the basic physiology of your body. It allows your body to speak its truth, thus shifting traumatic responses to allow for healthier patterns to develop.

The focus of SE is to increase your capacity to ‘ride the waves’ of sensation/feeling to ever deepening resilience and aliveness. LCSW, SEP, RSP
