I have been a psychotherapist since 1998 and absolutely love what I do! Over the years my focus has shifted to intense training centered around experiential and somatic therapies. I find these are more effective in helping people remove barriers that complicate their healing. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner as well am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), Sandtray Wordplay, and am an EMDR Sandtray Specialist. I use my training to help children, teens and adults with anxiety, AD/HD, depression, gender identity, grief, sexual orientation issues, and complex trauma among other issues. I am also a certified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior (FIRO-B) which I use in psychotherapy as well as in business consultation. As a small business owner, I enjoy helping people succeed.

And because I love Somatic Experiencing so much, I am now a Somatic Experiencing Assistant at the Intermediate Level. I am approved to provide personal sessions at the Beginning Level as well.

I co-own a private practice called Within Sight with my best friend, Julie Bellamy, in Evansville, Indiana and are proud to have been in business for 11 years. We employ 10 clinicians and 4 administrative staff and provide individual and group supervision to our clinical staff. Our mission is to build collaborative relationships with our clients, employees, and associates so that connection and discovery are not only encouraged but developed.
