Brooke Seiz

Brooke Seiz has a counseling and functional nutrition practice located in Prairie Village, KS. She's also a former yoga teacher and musical theatre performer. She works with both individuals and couples. Brooke sees people for trauma, PTSD, and anxiety, as well as binge & disordered eating. Brooke also provides sex therapy to individuals & couples in an LGBTQ+ & ENM affirming space. She sees couples for relational therapy and loves incorporating an awareness of each individual's nervous system into understanding communication patterns in the relationship. For those interested in a functional nutrition approach, a deep dive into gut, hormonal health and other systems in the body is taken to improve symptoms. Brooke specializes in gut issues such as IBS and IBD, and also commonly works with hormone issues like PMDD, PCOS, etc. She’s Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals, and is also certified in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Brooke has a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Brooke is grateful to have found functional medicine and Somatic Experiencing in her own health journey and now to be able to provide support for others through these modalities.
