Bonnie Olechno

Bonnie Olechno is a Registered Nurse Clinician, Psychotherapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and an International SE Assistant with enormous compassion dedicated to helping people meet their various needs physically, emotionally and psychologically with 21 years experience in Case Management with a large Mental Health Organization in Ontario, The Canadian Mental Health Association. Bonnie uses interventions from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindful Self Compassion, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Somatic Experiencing to help individuals gain control of stress and complete the stress response. Bonnie supports others by helping them develop a connection to their own personal source of guidance, comfort and well-being by using these various modalities. A contributing member in her community to a Trauma Informed Committee (2017-2022).

When Bonnie broaches the fascinating subject of trauma physiology, her re-assuring voice rings with the sound of experience, expertise and most importantly a deep reservoir of compassion to support you.

Bonnie started her training in Somatic Experiencing in 2017 with Berns Galloway in London, Ontario, Canada. She completed the training with Kathy Kain and Linda Stelte in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 2019. Bonnie is a committed member to the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute and she loves supporting other SE students in their process of becoming Somatic Experiencing Practitioners and SE Faculty worldwide teaching these skills. She has assisted for Linda Stelte, Gina Ross, Berns Galloway, Debra Clydesdale, Dea Parsanishi and Dr. Shideh Lennon.
