In our therapy work together, I offer presence, compassion, and curiosity, inviting you to explore, reflect, and actively participate in your own healing journey. I recognize the power and wisdom each person holds within themselves, and I am here to support you in moving toward a state of self-connection, self-empowerment, and well-being.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSc) and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW). Early in my experience as a therapist, I observed a common theme: repeated exposure to traumatic and overwhelming experiences, coupled with a lack of support to process and navigate the impact, often left others feeling stuck and isolated. In response, I looked-for a deeper understanding and healing of trauma, and completed a three-year training program to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a naturalistic approach that helps release traumatic stress stored in the body. To further support others in expanding their resilience, I recently completed training in Touch Skills for Trauma (TST) practitioners.

In addition to somatic therapy, I value and incorporate approaches that honor the emotional, cognitive, and spiritual dimensions of a person’s well-being. I draw from various therapeutic models, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as Compassion- and Mindfulness-Focused therapies.

I support individuals aged 19 and older who have experienced trauma in childhood or adulthood, as well as those struggling with grief, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, emotional regulation, and disconnection from their bodies, others, and the world. I welcome people from diverse lived experiences, identities, ethnicities, races, and cultures. I offer personal SE sessions at the beginning level both virtual (worldwide) and in person sessions in Ottawa, Canada.

I believe healing happens when we feel safe, heard, and understood. I meet you where you are, honor your past, and walk alongside you toward your desired future. Together, we’ll create a map to explore and make sense of how past experiences are influencing your present. This map will be practical, helping you navigate current challenges while encouraging steps forward that bring you closer to your whole Self.
