I provide body-centered as well as traditional psychotherapy that acknowledges the deep integration of body, mind, emotions and spirit and each person's underlying wholeness and uniqueness. My intention is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work gently together to help you untie the knots of past wounds and traumas. I integrate Somatic Experiencing with Cognitive, EMDR, Realization Process, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness and Ego State therapies as well as recent developmental neurobiology and attachment theories. Completion of Franklyn Sills' Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training has further enhanced my understanding as a Somatic Psychotherapist. After completing the Advanced Level of Somatic Experiencing with Peter Levine, I have also taken Post-Advanced courses with Diane Poole-Heller, Nancy Napier, Raja Selvam, Ariel Giarretto and Sonia Gomes. I completed Raja Selvam's Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP) professional training in 2017 and Kathy Kain's Touch Skills Training for Trauma Therapists in 2012. I am a Certified Realization Process Practitioner, having taken Judith Blackstone, PhD's Realization Process Spiritual Psychotherapy, Embodiment and Meditation Teacher trainings. I have experience with developmental trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, coping with illness, surgery, grief and relationship problems as well as personal growth and spiritual issues. LCSW-R
