Ana Goldenberg

I have been working in the field of psychology for the past twenty years and have used additional modalities in addition to traditional psychotherapy such as hypnosis, and Tibetan Bowl Therapy. I was drawn to these modalites because of the influence of living and working in Calcutta, India for eight years, when I was in my twenties, where I delved into the spiritual practices of Hinduism and Indian classical vocal music.
In my quest to find the most integrative therapy that will help people heal and grow, I went on to train in the use of sound with tuning forks, color with lights and scarves, and chi with acupuncture meridians and points. My most recent trainings have been in Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing.As I continue bring in a mix of the old and the new, I incorporate them into my mind/body/spirit healing practice, believing that effective healing happens when both the practitioner and the client are open to exploring different and varied ways of self-development and healing, following the lead of the healing system of the client.
