Hello everyone! I'm Amanda Adili, an Iranian-American living in Brooklyn, NY. Somatic Experiencing has transformed my life, enriching it in countless ways. I’ve been honing my expertise assisting at SE trainings for many years. I began my journey in community mental health and I've been in private practice for almost 15 years including ongoing monthly consultation groups and weekly supervision, and received my own SE therapy for 20 years. I practice a unique blend of transpersonal, multicultural, and relational psychodynamic therapy, offering support to adults, couples, groups, and consultees. I'm passionate about integrating various therapeutic approaches: SE Touch Skills, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, Gestalt, EMDR, Mindfulness, Inner Relationship Focusing, Parts work, and more, all while keeping a keen eye on attachment styles. My specialties include sexuality, gender, intimacy, intergenerational and developmental trauma, and CPTSD.
