I am warm, caring, and real. I hold a non judgmental, supportive and curious space for my clients to understand and make meaning of their experience. I help my clients identify their own inner resources and strengths and build upon those while also developing new tools to create adaptive and positive patterns. I use a holistic approach and help clients apply mindfulness skills to balance body mind and spirit. I especially love working with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) because of the positive outcomes and healing that I’ve witnessed with it. EMDR is an evidenced based practice that’s gaining popularity due to its effectiveness in treating trauma and many other issues. Trauma is any experience that feels wounding and disrupts regular functioning. Sometimes psychedelic experiences can be traumatizing or trigger already existing unprocessed trauma. EMDR along with mindfulness practices can create new neuro pathways in your brain which will help you feel better and develop new lasting beliefs and behaviors. I also have an adorable non shedding labradoodle dog assistant who loves to love and help. If dog’s “aren’t your jam”, he’s happy to stay home and snooze!
