Melissa “Misha” Nell

Misha is a Certified Clinical Herbalist, Certified Flower Essence Clinician, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and intuitive shamanic healer. She is a Priestess of the Sacred Earth and utilizes a variety of shamanic practices to help individuals find their way on the path of healing. Misha is happy to see both humans and animals in her practice.

Misha is the Creative Catalyst and Herb Shop Manager at Cypress Pillar Healing Arts in Sarasota, Florida. She teaches a variety of classes both in person at Cypress as well as virtually. Misha holds a Master's of Science in Environmental Education and a Bachelor's of Science in Botany/Biology and Fine Arts. Misha is a Certified Advanced Master Naturalist and Certified Interpretive Guide, and has been working in her home state of Florida teaching people about wild Florida for over 30 years. She leads plant walks, foraging, and wildcrafting classes in the field and loves sharing the magic and medicine of Florida's native plants with others, helping them to find their wild soul.

She specializes in teaching Florida's bioregional plants, plant identification / botany, and environmental education. Her herbalism practice focuses on helping individuals release deep trauma, working with the plant allies to navigate life's challenges. She also focuses on digestive, mental, and reproductive health.
