Ayahuasca and Alternative Healing

Ayahuasca The Ayahuasca and Alternative Healing Center (AyaCenter) provides a unique and spiritual experience, by focusing on profound care towards each individual through every step of the process, and allowing every person to access their authenticity through embracing their own singularity.

Located in the beautiful town of Antigua Guatemala, the retreat offers a perfect balance of comfort, safety, easy access, and retreats of Ayahuasca and/or Huachuma (San Pedro) ten months a year.

Your journey with us and plant medicine Ayahuasca and/or Huachuma begins from the moment you set an intention to sit with us in ceremony. We will guide you through preparing your body and mind to most effectively receive this healing medicine. Everyone will be required to meet with us through a Zoom call, to make sure this process will be safe, clear and comfortable for you, and you will be asked to follow the dietary requirements. We take all the measures for you to be and feel safe with us, and this is the reason why we keep our retreats small, with no more than seven participants, so that we can work with you on a deeper level. This allows for you and Maestro to connect during the ceremonies, and we also by take the time to integrate you on the most comprehensible and powerful way possible.

Ayahuasca is a mighty medicine to heal the body, mind, and spirit. Regardless of this power, it is not a magical pill to swallow and forget, but a guide to meet and walk with into a new way of life, and seeing things with a new perspective.



Why we are located in Guatemala and not in Peru

We chose Guatemala only after our Maestro visited and traveled here, performing ceremonies and connecting to nature and the spirit of the land. We wanted to make plant medicine more accesible for people traveling from the North, Europe and beyond, and we understand it could be a long trip to Peru, with the difficulties of finding legitimate, experienced Maestros, as well as comfortable, safe places. Adding to it that is could also be much more costly for many people, and more time-consuming. For this reason, more people (including of course, locals and people from the region) can have more affordable flight options and get the full experience of deep healing and spiritual practice. We put all our efforts to be affordable to many in a comfortable environment.



Our Ayahuasca ceremonies

Our Ayahuasca retreats take place in San Pedro El Alto, in a safe, tranquil community, just 15 minutes away from the downtown Antigua, surrounded by nature and the sounds of it. We always have an experienced, trusted facilitator who takes a microdose of Aya to connect to the energy, while is fully aware of the situation of the room, assisting you in any way you need, and playing the instruments with healing intentions. Maestro also connects to the energy of everyone in the room, reading through the Medicine, what type of Icaros (Medicine chants) every person needs. After the ceremonies, we have a time to ask Maestro questions about the process, share, drink tea, eat some fruit, and rest comfortably in the room.



On the integration process

We are very serious about the integration process and spend a fair amount of time talking one-on-one. After the retreat is finished we stay in touch and available, in case further integration is needed.



Our 3-5-7 Days of Retreat

Our 3-day retreat includes 2 Ayahuasca ceremonies, 1 flower ceremony, as well as integration and meditation sessions. In our retreat 5-day retreat, we include 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies, integration & meditation sessions, the flower ceremony, hikes around and/or yoga classes. The 7-day retreats include 3 or 4 Ayahuasca ceremonies, integration & meditation sessions, massage, yoga, acupuncture session, flower ceremony, a hike to the Cerro Cucurucho (a mountain close by)

Your peace of mind is very important to us. We work with small groups so that at the end of the retreat you can feel as if you visited family.
