Ventura Myofascial Release

Welcome to Ventura Myofascial Release. I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 36 years and have been doing MFR for over 14 years. Being an OT allows me to not only view the client as a whole-being, with work/play/leisure aspects, but also from a physical rehabilitation standpoint. The gentle yet powerful techniques John teaches make up this amazing whole-body approach. MFR is designed to release the restrictions in the fascial system, increase range of motion, restore overall function, reduce pain, and calm the nervous system. Myofascial Release assists your body to heal by using a hands-on technique that releases connective tissue adhesions/restrictions. We treat clients with chronic and acute pain, headaches/migraines, fibromyalgia, anxiety, neurological dysfunction, sports injuries, birth trauma, etc. Treatment focuses on returning your body to its natural, homeostatic state. Clients get off the table feeling calm and connected. Self-treatments are taught and recommended.
