I took my first John Barnes MFR seminar in 1998 and I was hooked. I've continued with my training over the years, blending MFR in with traditional Occupational Therapy . My Pain Management clinic is designed to use my extensive MFR skills with my Occupational Therapy perspective to provide a unique path to a pain free, productive lifestyle. My experience with Activities of Daily Living, Activity Adaptation and Compensatory training along with MFR protocols, treatments and self healing techniques provides for a therapeutic, supportive environment which facilitates long lasting results. After taking the Women's Health Seminar in 2019, I have become passionate about using MFR to treat Women's Health Issues as well.. There is so much ignorance and shame regarding pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary continence and sexual discomfort. Women are told, sorry "that's what happens, you just have to live with it.". Myofascial release allows women to heal and return to optimal function.
