I am a certified Alexander Technique Teacher who has been teaching individuals and small-group classes since 2008. I chose to train as a teacher after a few series of lessons (on separate occasions) helped me resolve my persistent back pain, enjoy my pregnancies, and inform my parenting style – particularly as a founding member of a Sudbury Valley-inspired democratic school.



As a uniquely insightful technique for rediscovering universal principles of bearing, body mechanics, and coordination that does not require any particular fitness level or equipment of any sort, I believe that people from all walks of life can use the technique to look, feel, and function better. I really enjoy teaching the technique and love seeing students use it independently.
