Yan Ong

Yan Ong Yan Ong has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga full time for the past 10 years, she’s an authorised level 2 Ashtanga Yoga teacher & owner of Mysore Room. She moved to Mysore, India in 2010 living there for 4 years, studying yoga at the Ashtanga Institute, ancient yoga philosophy scripture & an Ayurvedic lifestyle .

In the past decade she has brought gift of yoga across the globe to over 10 countries spanning 4 continents. She has conducted classes, philosophy lectures, workshops, festival events, owned a shala, hosts a yoga book club & podcast. Yan’s teaching, writing & talks are energised by her wealth of experience & unique perspective, having personally managed Hashimoto's, PCOS, leaky gut throughout her adult years.
