Annelie Smith

3X4 GENETICS Annelie qualified with a Med Hons Degree in Clinical Dietitics in 1992 (UCT). She gained experience in various Clinical institutions and then had a private practice in Cape Town for more than 25 years, specializing in many different areas of health and disease including renal disease, mood, and behavior disorders, and endocrine balance.
She is now internationally recognized with extensive experience in addressing nutrition and lifestyle as a core method to promote health and wellness.
She has specialized in nutrigenomics for more than 15 years and now heads up the Clinical Team and Mentorship for 3X4 Genetics.
She has translated hundreds of nutrigenomic tests, but she has also been responsible for teaching practitioners around the world how to translate genetics into clinical practice.
In her spare time, she can be found doing extreme long-distance ocean adventure swimming in the cold Atlantic ocean or other parts of the world
