Christine E. Miller, MS, RD, LDN, IFMCP

Christine has provided over 32 years of caring clinical practice to individuals and groups. She specializes in nutritional counseling, functional medicine and medical/integrative nutrition therapy.

In 2013, Christine was one of only two Registered Dietitians worldwide to be the first to achieve designation as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner from the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Christine assists her clients in resolving health and dietary dilemmas for a wide array of health conditions and wellness goals. Her unique approach has been cultivated over many years thanks to the pioneering work of Dr. Jeffrey Bland, The Institute for Functional Medicine, and other key mentors.

Her approach is uniquely one-on-one and personalized and does not involve expensive memberships or packages.

Christine began her professional career in Tampa, Florida upon completion of a Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition in 1991 from Texas Women’s University. In 1994 after training and working extensively with individuals with diabetes, she obtained her CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) specialization while also beginning to incorporate natural integrative protocols and strategies to resolve her own health challenges which started in early childhood. These trials over time allowed her to learn, grow and expand to further help her clients, develop insight and compasssion and evolve her practice to involve identifying and addressing root-causes instead of just providing mainstream nutritional advice. Despite the incredible power of nutrition, deeper issues relating to the microbiome, toxin exposure, and infection better refined and shaped her view and practice. Over time, her private practice has grown and flourished most often from word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients.

Christine is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, and the Institute of Functional Medicine®. Christine is available for consultations in office, by phone or as a virtual visit.
