Monica Cooke

FNP-C, Monica Cooke, FNP-C is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse. Monica has worked in the Medical Field for over 24 years. ​ Before joining Lighthouse Complex Care, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner within pain management and nutrition and diet specialties. Her nursing background ranges from school nursing to newborn care/labor and delivery to oncology. Monica’s integrative approach combines functional and traditional medicines to address complex needs for total wellness. Monica became interested in Integrative medicine while attending undergraduate school in the southwest. She was introduced to Dr. Andrew Weil and Reiki early on in nursing school, becoming Reiki II certified and knew that she wanted to integrate all modalities in her practice to focus on the whole person. She also is the mother of children with complex needs and as a parent provider, empathizes with seeking the best care possible for a child with medically complex conditions. Autism and PANS/PANDAS are special areas of interest for Monica. Monica is currently studying Herbalism and Functional Medicine.
