Heather Wright

ND FABNO Dr. Heather Wright is founder of Goodapplewellness.com an integrative oncology telehealth practice where she works 1:1 with people and families affected by cancer. Dr. Wright is also a research director for KNOWintegrativeoncology.org, an educational database of published human clinical trials in integrative oncology. Dr. Wright graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 and worked as an integrative provider within the department of internal medicine at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center in upstate NY for 2 years before going on to complete Naturopathic oncology fellowship training in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Dr. Wright worked in hospital-based cancer centers for 10 years. She became a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) in 2011 and clinically supervised 8 naturopathic doctors in completing a 2-year hospital-based naturopathic oncology residency program. Dr. Wright has worked in the field of integrative medicine for a total of 18 years and has a great deal of experience in the co-management and care of people with pancreatic, biliary, and digestive tract cancers and also works with many women with breast, uterine and ovarian cancers. In addition, Dr. Wright serves to advance research projects and uphold the mission of several boards including the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Cancer Support Community & Gilda’s Club of Greater Philadelphia, The Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Cancerchoices.org. Dr. Wright believes all people diagnosed with cancer should have access to safe integrative and supportive therapies as part of their cancer care.
