Dr. Jeff Appelmann

BSc, ND Dr. Appelmann, ND started working with cancer patients as an intern at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and has adopted it as a focus of his practice since his graduation in 2000. In 2010 Dr. Appelmann co-founded the Canadian Integrative Cancer Centre in Oakville Ontario and was a clinic director until 2017. In 2017 he founded the Canadian Naturopathic Cancer Clinic in Oakville Ontario and assumed the role of clinic director there. A background in biochemistry gives him a sound insight into the complexity of the interactions between supplements, herbs, foods and medications, and their resulting effects on the body. Through years of experience with cancer patients and a keen interest in oncology, Dr. Appelmann has worked to understand and personalize protocols for patients that maximize healing and avoid possible drug-nutrient interactions that may hinder the healing process. Dr. Appelmann’s main interests are clinical nutrition, the use of therapeutic supplements, acupuncture, herbal medicine and counselling. With his caring and compassionate nature, Dr. Appelmann brings over two decades of cancer care experience and knowledge to all of his patients.
